Monstrous Turtles

In my time exploring the extremely confusing terrain that is the Tumblr-sphere (what does it even meeeean?) I’ve found a number of cool tumblrs that always bring a smile to my face.

SO. This is my list of fun tumblrs I highly recommend for your daily dose of happy.

KittensKittensKittens - It is exactly what it sounds like. Kittens of all shapes and sizes being adorable.

MochaCafe - They post a little bit of everything, and I often see a lot of really neat art and concepts through them that make me go ‘huh’. It’s great for getting something bright and colourful in your dashboard.

STFUParents - I have to warn you: This is not actually a good tumblr if you’re looking for a daily dose of smile. It’s more like daily dose of WTF. But the owner, B, is absolutely hilarious. And you will not BELIEVE some of the things you see here. It’s a combination of hilarious, sad, and raeg. I should also mention the name is a bit misleading, as it’s not directed at parents in general. Go check it out and you’ll see exactly what I mean.

Kate Or Die! - Who my mind constantly processes as “Kate Ordie”. She works in a comic book store, draws a lot of really fun comics, and has a lot of thought-provoking commentary regarding GLBTQ and women’s issues.

Link Making Faces - It’s Link from TLoZ. Making faces. Seriously, that’s the whole blog. Tons of fun if you like getting a different face in your dashboard throughout the day.

Animals Talking in All Caps - Another self-explanatory tumblr. I don’t know who writes these but they are freakin’ hilarious.

True Tales of Horrifying Youth - This guy doesn’t update very often but when he does it’s always a fun read. Basically he recounts tales of his childhood in comic format.

I’ll make more recommendations in the future as I find more tumblrs!
